Also, check out a new feature on the sidebar - right below the energy links, a list of links to back issues of my monthly new energy currents bulletins, dating all the way back to September 2004 - a screenshot of which, for what it's worth, will apparently be featured in the forthcoming second edition of the Bedford Researcher textbook as an example of "a blog through which student researchers might find information for their writing papers." No joke, students, it's that solid!
Each post is FAT with links to news on developments in energy science, technology, and policy, covering all sorts of renewables as well as fossil fuels and nuclear power. It's really a resource for me as much as anything, but if you're interested in keeping up with what's been doing in any of these areas, or are looking for an old story from a few months ago, you might find it useful too.
...Also, I've been trying to figure out how to make a decent sounding MP3 from some of my vinyl. Not having a ton of luck so far - too much hiss! - but check out these awesome feedback noises it made when I messed up the configuration. It's like I accidentally summoned Forcefield or something!
