Bush, two years behind Kerry, was seeking commercial opportunity at Yale by selling ounce bags of cocaine,Dude!!
ounce bags of cocaine

I'll be honest and say that I don't really know what coke dealing was like back in the '70s, but on the other hand I will also be honest and say that I do know 'a bit' about what coke dealing is like in the '00s (just from watching movies!) and if you're moving ounces at a time, you're pretty high up on the food chain. So either a) Cockburn doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about (and if he is assuming that any of the Evil Veterans he quotes in the article are not despicable liars he is obviously insane), or b) there is a sweet-ass mega Bush-coke scandal waiting to happen!! I totally admit to not really knowing anything about Bush's 'alleged' coke use/dealing, and I am definitely kind of curious now, but why look it up when it is hopefully only a matter of time before some enterprising left wing muckracker blogger digs it up for me - Oliver Willis has already called for an inquiry, so I assume someone's working on it...? Enjoy this late-August moment of pointless election news now, friends, for I'm guessing there's a pretty fucking good chance we won't have the luxury of, nor the stomach for this frivolous shit a month or two from now.
