Caught the tail end of the convention shit last night, tuned in just to see that creepy-cute Kids for Kerry Kid... "It's never too young to get political," says the LAT, and I must say I definitely disagree, but hey, I'm really glad that the Dems are setting themselves up to be America's Cute Party, I think 'cute' is really gonna resonate with the electorate this year and BC04 IS NOT CUTE AT ALL!!! ( those are six separate links, dude!)
[actually, in the process of looking up that Kids for Kerry shit I saw a clip of Barack Obama's speech and he was looking like a total stud out there, haven't seen Dean-O yet but it was definitely the best I've seen so far - now he'd be a great president to name your kid after...]

But F all that ish, did anyone else watch that National Geographic "Ultimate Thrill Rides" show that came on like at 11:30?? Holy shit, so fucking awesome!! They profiled a lot of totally mind-blowing rides (like X, Top Thrill Dragster, and AIR) and in most cases got the ride's designer to talk you through it while he is himself riding the ride, with everybody like freaking out and screaming all around him. All the designers were really kind of subdued guys too, it was really cute, at the end one of the designers is prompted by the narrator to "give us a glimpse into the future of his next great thrill ride," and the guy is like
"Sure, I'll give you a hint, it's gonna be awesome!"
MY KINDA GUY! Now that is what I call a fucking campaign slogan we can all get behind, like, Kerry/Edwards 04: I'll Give You A Hint, It's Gonna Be AWESOME! Yeah, yo!
