[mike listens to something, it was probably awesome! with billy and alex on the left and right, they are recording the shit out of us and doing an amazing job, it's amazing what you can do in a studio when you know what the fuck you're doing]
6:51 PM I'm hungry and just read B-McMuller's liveblogging of Steve's WFMU hour this morning... I still haven't heard it, is it online yet? It sounds awesome
[mike and billy spent approx 1.5 days selecting, setting up, and miking drums!!!!]
6:53 PM It IS online, HERE! I can't listen to it right now b/c I am in the control room and Aron is recording drums for New Machine. We have been recording drums all day (duh), Mike's done a lot of his, and now Aron is overdubbing
6:55 PM I AM hungry, I'm going out to get some food. I want to take a picture of Aron playing, but I don't want to disturb him
7:00 PM LIVEBLOGGIN FROM THE LOUNGE, not to be all like 'this studio is awesome' or anything but they have all these DVDs and a Playstation AND arcade games, including Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga and Michael Jackson's MOONWALKER. Mike is standing on a cooler, recording some RIDICULOUS shit on this wild African drum thing that I don't know what it is with Sean. I'll try and post it later w/pix

11:42 PM I JUST HAD A TOTALLY RANDOM/AMAZING DINNER at THIS PLACE, I sat at the bar and watched all these people tango on this ballroom floor there and I talked with this nice guy Rick sitting next to me who runs this other place, at one point they gave the dance floor over to this super-pro couple who danced to these pre-recorded modern tango jamz with old-fashioned tango strings on top of drum machine beats and synth basslines, WOW is all I can say
11:47 PM LITCHI GUMMY CANDY IS AWESOME, also Aron and Mike have recorded pretty much all the drums, they seem to sound really good (although I haven't really been paying too much attention)! Me and Sean tomorrow, Dav is up in Boston til Monday, we miss U Dav!!
1:32 AM HOME NOW, but working on some of my synthage for tomorrow for a bit. Currently tho I am uploading pictures and listening to STEEEEEV. This is a picture of some recently recorded reels, including THE FALL's epic awesome epic "BLINDNESS," which I really want to hear, maybe I should ask about it tomorrow...?
